‘소액결제 현금화 사업은 불법이다. 아이디어통신망법은 ‘통신과금서비스사용자로 하여금 통신과금서비스에 의하여 재화등을 구매·사용하도록 한 후 이용자가 구매·이용한 재화등을 할인해 매입하는 행위에 ‘4년 이하의 징역 또는 3천만원 이하의 벌금에 처되도록 규정하고 있다.
모바일 소액결제는 당월 사용한 결제 돈이 휴대폰 요금으로 빠져나가는 구조다. 결제월과 취소월이처럼 경우 모바일 요금에서 미청구되고 승인 취소가 가능하다. 허나 결제월과 취소월이 다를 경우에는 핸드폰 요금에서 이미 출금됐기 덕에 승인 취소가 불가하다.
